
Formerly a university professor at the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ambassador Omelchenko has also taught at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Since November 2020, he has served as Ukraine’s Permanent Representative to UNESCO.
The Ambassador will present the situation in Ukraine, the pivotal role of France in strengthening European strategic autonomy, overcoming the consequences of Russian aggression, restoring law and justice, and implementing economic projects for Ukraine's reconstruction. He particularly wishes to engage in dialogue with those who will build the future of Europe and France.
The lecture will be followed by an in-depth Q & A session.
